Life Coaching self help: How to get unstuck in life

Considering the number of ‘hats’ we wear in modern-day life, it’s no wonder we’ve all experienced the situation where we feel like we’ve exhausted ourselves and all our options.

Maybe there are some areas of your life where you feel like that right now. Maybe you feel stuck about your career or business, your relationship(s), finances, or you need a breakthrough with your kids.

When we feel like our tank is on ‘empty’, we can top it up, and it can be as quick as calling on our inner counsel – if we know how. 👀

Our inner counsel has archetypes or personas deep inside each of us. These archetypes have certain traits or behaviours, that are ready for us to access whenever we need. So, here are four inner counsel archetypes you can call upon to top up your tank and bring more of yourself to the table:

💪The Warrior – An achiever, strategic, a goal-getter.

👑The Ruler/Sovereign – Committed to the greater good, practical, a natural leader.

🧡The Lover – Caring, compassionate and emotionally in-tune with others.

🪄The Magician – Artistic, creative, expressive, a visionary.

If you’re calling on your inner warrior regularly, you’ll push through no matter what, but if overused, the warrior can get tired. So, if you’ve ever felt that you’ve tried everything and you’re running on empty, it’s likely that you’ve overused your warrior – a common situation with achievers.

Consider then what it might be like to call upon your inner Ruler/Sovereign. How might your inner king or queen respond to your challenge by seeing the bigger picture and lead you to a new solution?

What about your inner Lover? If you approached your challenge with even more love and compassion than ever before, what new result could you achieve?

What about calling on your inner Magician instead? How would your outcome change if you approached your challenge with an element of creativity and playfulness?

We can choose to call upon each of these archetypes at any given time – though we do tend to favour one more often than the others.

So if you want to get unstuck in life, you might just need to call upon another archetype. ✨

When you learn to use all your archetypes and embody your inner warrior, ruler/sovereign, lover and magician, you can approach life in a whole new way, with more creativity, confidence, heart and strength.
